 Lorrie MacDonald
DHS, PMHNP-BC, CNP

     Lorrie MacDonald is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who holds a Doctorate in Health Sciences, Certificate of Advanced Graduate Degree, Masters of Science in Nursing Education, Bachelor Degree in Human Services/Counseling, and a Diploma in Nursing. Lorrie treats ages 5 through 55, specializing in ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, mood disorders, depression, trauma, and anxiety.

     Lorrie delivers nonjudgmental care and specializes in pediatrics, adolescents, and college aged students and works collaboratively with schools for those on IEPS or accommodation plans. Utilizing over thirty years of experience, she works with patients to meet their daily challenges while developing goals and moving forward with their lives. 
Lorrie collaborates with the client's private care physicians, therapists and other specialists in order to provide a  comprehensive individualize treatment plan. She offers evening and Saturday hours by appointment only.
     Dr. MacDonald has held a faculty appointment at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences school of Nursing since 2011. Dr. MacDonald has developed academic programming within the School of Nursing to advance the education of undergraduate and graduate nursing students to meet the needs of today's complex patients.

 Edith Claros
PhD, PMHNP-BC, CNP

     Edith Claros is originally from Bogota, Colombia and speaks Spanish and Portuguese, in addition to English.  She attended Worcester State University for her undergraduate degree in Nursing and Master’s Degree in Community Health Nursing. She later attended Walden University where she obtained a PhD in Public Health with concentration on Mental Health.

     As part of her dedication to working in mental health, she further attended the University of South Alabama where she completed training in the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program. As a board certified PMHNP, Dr. Claros takes great pride in the care provided by the New View Health and Wellness team. Edith's passion is driven by the bonds she builds with her patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment she holds in keeping them healthy and well.

Trisha Hogan
DNP, AHNC-BC, PMHNP-BC, CNP

     Patricia Hogan DNP, PMHNP-BC, AHN-BC has been a nurse for 23 years working with different populations in various settings such psychiatric mental health, addiction nursing and critical care (Trauma ICU, Burn ICU, Medical/Surgical ICU) nursing. In addition to receiving her certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Tricia received her advanced holistic nursing certification (AHNC-BC). Tricia is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, American Psychiatric Nurses’ Association, International Nurses Society on Addictions and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

     In addition to New View health and Wellness, Tricia is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner on the inpatient Adult Psychiatric Unit at UMMHC Harrington, in Webster, MA. Dr. Hogan taught undergraduate nursing students for nine years as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Mount Wachusett Community College and adjunct nursing faculty at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University. Since 2013, she has taught psychopharmacology for students enrolled in the Addiction Counselor Education program.

Justine Isakson, LMHC

     Justine is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, receiving her Master’s Degree from Assumption College in 2013 and independent license in 2016. With a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Justine has expanded her therapeutic interventions to include Gottman relational interventions, ACT, family systems, and motivational interviewing among others. She has experience working with individuals and families within a wide variety of settings; from traditional outpatient, residential, Emergency Departments, and other intensive based services. Her specialty is working with those who have experienced trauma and or grief through evidenced based therapies such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and CPT. She strives to create a safe place to those who identify within the LGBTQ community and culturally competent therapy. Justine works diligently to provide appropriate services to all those who are motivated towards change working collaboratively towards goals in a strength based fashion.

Allyson Ward, 
Education Specialist

Allyson Ward is an educational advocate providing dedicated services to students and families across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Russian, East European, Eurasian Studies from Stetson University, followed by a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Rhode Island College. With a multicultural background in teaching English in France and serving as a Teach for America corps member in Providence, Rhode Island, Allyson gained valuable experience in diverse educational settings, including charter, public, and international schools. 

 

Throughout her career, Allyson's passion for advocating for underserved youth has enriched her understanding of the educational system and effective strategies for achieving children's success in school. As a certified teacher and former department head, she has demonstrated expertise in developing personalized plans and advocating for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans, all centered on strengths-based evaluation and prioritizing the holistic well-being of the child. Allyson's commitment to empowering students and ensuring equitable access to education makes her a trusted advocate and partner for families seeking unwavering support for their children's educational journey.
